Bauspiel
The creators behind Bauspiel Toys have been working on their creations since 1983, long before their official establishment of the company in 2013, in Ausburg, Germany.
Over forty years of creativity have produced a lineup including classic pieces like the Bauspiel Castle lineup along with new standard sets like the X Blocks and Grid Blocks. The introduction of the Lucent Cubes and the Gems bring vibrant colors to any playroom. Bauspiel’s creation of the Window Blocks, Fairytale Windows, and Color Street sets are the perfect harmony of natural wood and vibrant colors. Bauspiel still continues to innovate with the introduction of the Wheel Kit adding the dimension of motion to the Bauspiel world.
The creators behind the Bauspiel toys bring years of experience and deep understanding of educational toys, along with high quality woodworking craftsmanship to give birth to these attractive, high quality toys.
Fair, honest, and creative are the words that best describe the creators who believe that we should take care of the good earth that we depend on. Just like their long and undeterred journey to establishing the company, the brand has allowed the awareness of their toys to grow organically, with very minimal marketing efforts. Their belief is that a good wood toy will speak for itself.
Primarily supplied to kindergartens in Germany for open-ended play, Bauspiel toys have been tried and tested by many little hands. Even with its growing success today, the brand owners view Bauspiel as the same humble brand that they started with, and have pledged to focus on producing quality wood toys for a sustainable future for generations to come.
All Bauspiel toys comply with the gold EN71 standard.
The Bauspiel Blocks are an imagination sparking open-ended toy created in Germany. Made using high-quality European timber such as Beech, Alder, and Linden woods. These wooden blocks, either plain or adorned with the iconic "gems" or windows, are a favorite among young children who enjoy constructing castles, towers, and vibrant towns. With both play and educational benefits, the Bauspiel Blocks ignite a child's imagination
Felt pieces are produced from New Zealand sheep’s wool and are hand-felted in family businesses in Nepal according to fair-trade guidelines.
